Below are the terms and conditions upon which SoCo Performance Clinic bases its provision of services. Please read these before agreeing to us providing you with these services. If you have any questions regarding any of the below information, please ask us before entering into a contract with us.
Initial Assessment We will normally only provide you with our services after an initial assessment has been carried out. Please note that sometimes we will be unable to provide you with our services if we deem treatment for the condition or advice to be inappropriate or unsuitable; a decision on this will be at the discretion of your treating clinician. Your initial treatment plan should be agreed between you and your practitioner at the end of your initial assessment.
Treatments During the initial assessment and subsequent treatment sessions for our Physiotherapy services, you may be reasonably required to remove items of clothing in order to facilitate a thorough examination, and that some treatment techniques may require physical contact. You have the right to refuse any or all treatment during your session, however if we feel that you are not following our reasonable advice or instructions, you will still be liable to pay the fee for that session. We may be required to communicate with you and with other healthcare professionals about your care from time in order to get the best results for you – this will only be done with your consent and any information passed on will be kept strictly confidential in line with GDPR requirements.
Costs of Sessions and Payment of Fees Our pricing structure is clearly displayed on our website – any deviations to this will be agreed by both you and your treating clinician before any payment is made. Balance payment is due at the end of every session, unless you are bulk purchasing sessions in advance. In the fairness of treatment to our other clients, if you are late to an appointment, it is up to the discretion of your treating clinician whether to finish your appointment at the scheduled time or extend it. You will still be liable for the full cost of your appointment regardless.
We require 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your appointment.
If for unforeseen circumstances we are required to cancel an appointment – this normally only occurs if a staff member is sick, or in the case of an emergency – you will receive a rescheduled appointment at your earliest convenience. You will not receive any charge for the cancelled appointment, and any fees paid will be transferred over to the new appointment, or refunded if the appointment gets cancelled altogether.
Session Booklets If buying a block of treatment sessions, you have 3 weeks / 6 weeks /12 weeks (depending on whether you have purchased a 3, 6 or 12 week block of treatment) from the date of purchase to use all sessions before any unused sessions become void. This is to ensure we can provide you with optimum care and get you the best results, as delays longer than these often mean a change in your condition which can affect the effectiveness of the programme designed for you at your initial consultation. It is at the discretion of the treating clinician whether to extend any unused sessions in the event of exceptional circumstances.
Complaints We sincerely hope that you will be happy with the service you receive at SoCo Physiotherapy & Sports Performance Clinic, but if you are unhappy you have the option of either discussing it with your treating clinician or contacting the Clinic Director who will handle the complaint.
